About this design

In Alpine folklore, Krampus visits on the night of December 5th to deal with the children Saint Nicholas won’t. Victorian and Edwardian Krampus greeting cards are now beloved collectibles, and this original print captures their look: a horned, shaggy Krampus with chains and birch switches, framed by holly and an ornate antique border.

Aged paper tones, faded reds and greens — it looks like a find from an antique market.
